Font Research and explanation

This font is an old font which is used in various different places because it's classic, bold, stylised but still easy to read. Most fonts that are stylised tend to be harder to read
This font in most cases tends to be aimed at a masculine audience. The only exceptions to this that I've found is the love sign and the circus.
The serifs are quite bold which are carried through all of the different signs which help to distinguish this font apart from others.
I found all of these images on a Google search for Circus, Western, and Tattoo Shop font
This font represents that the film is old style, e.g. set in the past

This font shows an old style barber shop sign which is aimed at a male audience

This is representative of the old west and is eye-catching and classic
This represents tattoos which are meant to be stylised and unique
The circus is supposed to be child-like,fun and playful. This is represented on the sign
